Job summary
Valtech is seeking a GCP Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud solutions within a public sector environment. This is a hands-on, embedded role where you will work directly with client engineering teams to architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship to meet customer/compliance requirements.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- One active Google Cloud Professional-level certification.
- 5+ years in solution architecture or related fields.
- Hands-on software development experience (Python/Java/C++).
- Experience with enterprise cloud solutions and GCP data services.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on architectural leadership embedded in client teams.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud architectures.
- Guide engineering on trade-offs, decisions, and best practices.
- Develop cloud adoption roadmaps including hybrid/migration strategies.
- Architect and support highly distributed, scalable systems in cloud environments.
- Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risks, dependencies, timelines.
