Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust in Truro is inviting applications for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a dynamic department that delivers high-quality clinical care, education, research and innovation.

The successful candidate will contribute to outpatient clinics and endoscopy, participate in MDTs, teaching and governance activities, with opportunities in advanced endoscopy, nutrition, hepatology and service development. This is a permanent post with flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

• GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
• GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT (or equivalent).
• MRCP (UK) or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Outpatients care – clinics (usually 2 a week) and endoscopy lists (usually 2 a week).
• Inpatient care – ward rounds and on-call duties as described, with no overnight GiM commitments.
• Teaching – undergraduate and postgraduate teaching with expansion potential.
• Attend MDTs and governance meetings.
• Personal development and leadership opportunities if desired.
• Research opportunities if desired.
