Job summary
Greenray is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to deliver retrofit and upgrade projects for gas turbine control systems. You will provide specialist engineering across tendering, design, programming, manufacture, testing and commissioning to meet customer and company requirements while upholding integrity and collaboration.
You will lead detailed control system design, PLC programming, and hardware manufacture, with emphasis on safety, quality and on-time delivery, and support business
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with PLC-based control systems.
- Proven gas turbine control and fuel systems experience.
- Commissioning and site installation experience essential.
- Offshore Safety Survival Certificate desirable (training provided).
Responsibilities
- Review tender invitations and input to Greenray’s tender submissions and technical clarifications.
- Lead detailed control system design, PLC programming, and hardware manufacture.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
- Define FAT and SAT procedures with suppliers and witness testing as required.
- Support installation, commissioning activities and post-sales troubleshooting.
- Ensure project documentation and software meet company standards.
