Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in London seeks a Senior FX Cross Border Payments and AI Engineer to shape a high-performing team delivering next-level FX technology. You will implement cross-border payments solutions, and leverage cloud-native tech with CI/CD to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate with Sales, Trading, Quants and Product to translate payments needs into data-driven solutions, while mentoring juniors and driving best practices across Citi Technology. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in a STEM discipline.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and systems knowledge.
• Hands-on Java and Spring with ultra-low-latency development experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on implementation of cross-border FX payments and custody solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-native solutions with CI/CD workflows.
• Drive system architecture, collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in the department.
• Provide 3rd line production support and ensure documentation up to date.
