Job summary

Surrey Wildlife Trust is seeking a Funding Manager to lead and grow our fundraising strategy, diversifying income and securing major gifts and partnerships. You will inspire a team and work with trustees and senior leadership to deliver innovative campaigns that fund wildlife conservation across Surrey.

The role offers flexible hybrid working with the Pirbright HQ and opportunities to shape our fundraising workstreams across multiple income streams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising leadership and driving multiple income streams.
• Strong ability to build and maintain donor relationships and partnerships.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to translate conservation work into fundraising cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the fundraising strategy to grow income and financial sustainability.
• Manage a talented team across fundraising functions and campaigns.
• Strengthen relationships with donors, corporate partners, trusts and foundations.
• Expand membership, philanthropy and legacy giving programs.
• Collaborate with trustees and leadership to unlock new funding opportunities.
