This is a varied, hands‑on fundraising role with the opportunity to make a genuine impact. You will develop existing income streams while identifying new opportunities to grow support for our charity.

A key part of the role will be researching opportunities and producing compelling applications to trusts and foundations, alongside developing legacy giving, corporate partnerships, individual giving, fundraising appeals and supporter relationships.

  • Creating engaging fundraising appeals and campaigns.
  • Developing our legacy fundraising and supporter journeys.
  • Building relationships with new and existing corporate partners.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • An excellent and persuasive written communicator.
  • Confident researching and developing funding opportunities.
  • Experienced in fundraising, income generation or a closely related role.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive, creative and comfortable developing new ideas.
  • A strong relationship-builder who enjoys working with supporters, funders and partners.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Motivated by achieving results and growing sustainable income.
  • Committed to ethical and responsible fundraising.
  • Passionate about supporting the work of Secret World Wildlife Rescue.

Experience of trust and foundation fundraising, legacy fundraising, corporate partnerships or charity fundraising would be particularly valuable.

Why join Secret World Wildlife Rescue?

You’ll be joining an organisation dedicated to relieving the suffering of British wildlife and giving sick, injured and orphaned animals the opportunity to return to the wild wherever possible.

Your fundraising will directly support the people, facilities and resources that make that work possible.

If you’re an enthusiastic senior fundraiser who can turn opportunities and relationships into sustainable support for wildlife, we’d love to hear from you.
