British Museum is seeking a Senior Database Manager (Fundraising) to lead the RE7 database, ensure data accuracy and security, and support fundraising, Membership and Patron activity. You will manage a small team, streamline income processing, and drive CRM improvements within the Development department.

The role involves governance, analytics, training and cross-team collaboration to support the Masterplan and future capital campaigns.

Qualificações

• Experience in fundraising CRM environments.
• Experience managing a CRM database for fundraising, with Membership modules advantageous.
• Strong people management and workload prioritisation.
• Experience handling financial and non-financial data and developing processes.
• Excellent knowledge of GDPR and data protection standards.
• Experience with Gift Aid and income processing, understanding direct debit processing.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data handling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop and manage the RE7 database, maintaining data accuracy, security and integrity.
• Lead a small database team, prioritising income processing, data selections, reporting and other activities.
• Oversee Development income processing, including pledges, donations, Membership and Patron direct debits, Gift Aid, reconciliations.
• Deliver data processes like mailing selections and production of accurate financial/non-financial information.
• Improve database processes and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and deliver training, guidance and ongoing support for RE users.
• Collaborate with Information Services and external suppliers on system management and upgrades.
• Contribute to CRM improvement programmes and potential future platform replacement.
