Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a newly qualified accountant to join its Asset Management business within Private Markets and Real Assets. The role focuses on strong financial control, governance and accounting oversight across Real Estate and Private Markets entities.

You will challenge accounting treatments, review statements, and support going concern and audit requirements. You’ll collaborate with Fund Finance, Control and Oversight teams, review outputs, and contribute to improving control

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting foundation.
• Experience supporting external audits in preparer or reviewer roles.
• Exposure to Real Estate or Real Assets and property structures/funds.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent financial control and review information prepared by third-party administrators.
• Review period-end outputs, reconciliations and supporting evidence.
• Apply technical accounting judgement to routine and non-routine transactions.
