Mondrian Alpha has partnered with a rapidly growing Credit Hedge Fund to appoint a Fund Controller, reporting directly to the Deputy CFO. Despite being a relatively young firm, they have scaled to $15bn in AUM, delivering over 20% annualized returns since inception. With a planned 25% increase in headcount over the next year, they are entering a new phase of institutional expansion and operational maturity.
This newly created position will be a key member of the fund finance team, responsible for the reporting framework across their core open-ended credit strategies, as well as supporting closed-ended vehicles. The role includes oversight of fund administrators, fund performance analysis, and leading process optimization initiatives. The firm has invested heavily in automation and technology, offering a fast-paced environment with significant growth opportunities.
Working closely with the portfolio management team, you will lead performance monitoring and drive continuous improvement in finance operations. Responsibilities include full-cycle NAV oversight, review of fund financials, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Building a robust and scalable finance infrastructure will be critical as the firm scales.
The firm promotes a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, with regular team events, international retreats, and a hybrid working model (four days in-office).
We seek an ambitious, ACA/ACCA-qualified fund accountant (6–10 years PQE) with experience in open-ended hedge fund structures and strong credit exposure. A proactive, commercially minded individual with a continuous improvement mindset will excel in this high-growth environment.
