Job summary

Moonshot Partners in Brighton is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join a hands‑on, vendor‑to‑in‑house project. You will work with the Head of Engineering to shape an AI‑native engineering culture and deliver a platform used by real customers.

You’ll own architecture decisions, build end‑to‑end services and APIs, set TS standards, and mentor future engineers. The role demands deep TS expertise, system design, and comfort with ambiguity to deliver commercial impact.

Qualifications

• Deep TypeScript expertise, strong opinions on runtimes, type systems and testing.
• Strong system‑design judgement and experience defining integrations and domain models.
• High AI fluency, with agents and AI‑assisted engineering workflows.
• Clear communication with both non‑technical leaders and engineers.
• Ownership of architectural decisions and outcomes across products.

Responsibilities

• Co‑own architecture decisions and reshape the existing estate.
• Build the platform end to end, including services, APIs, integrations and frontend components.
• Set TypeScript standards covering patterns, testing, contract design and agent‑assisted workflows.
• Develop the AI‑powered software factory through skills, prompts and agent review patterns.
• Design integration boundaries across Dynamics, Stripe and Supabase.
• Ship features and improvements to a live member base from the first week.
• Explain technical choices to the CEO and prioritise work with the strongest commercial impact.
• Help interview and mentor future engineers and shape the technical recruitment process.
