Job summary

Jackalope Digital LLC in London is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own complex merchant-facing solutions from problem definition through design and production. You will work across backend and frontend services, collaborating with product, design, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable features.

You will mentor peers, drive architectural decisions, and apply AI-assisted tooling to boost velocity while maintaining quality and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating production software at scale.
• Ability to own complex features from problem definition through production.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring other engineers and driving design discussions.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production systems across backend services and user-facing applications.
• Lead technically complex initiatives across merchant onboarding, analytics, recommendations, menu and order management, integrations, or merchant-facing tools.
• Translate ambiguous business and merchant problems into scalable, pragmatic technical solutions.
• Drive technical design and architecture decisions with scalability and reliability in mind.
• Own systems end-to-end from discovery through production operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, operations, and engineers across teams.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate velocity while ensuring security and quality.
• Work across boundaries to deliver end-to-end solutions.
