Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer based in London to own complex merchant-facing product and technical problems, from discovery through design, implementation, production, and evolution.

You will design, build, and operate production systems across backend services and user-facing apps, leading initiatives across onboarding, analytics, and merchant tools, while translating business problems into pragmatic technical solutions and driving architecture decisions for long-term product

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating production software at scale.
• Ability to own complex features from problem definition through production and ongoing operation.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems, testing, observability, and reliability.
• Experience making architectural decisions with trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production systems across backend services and user-facing applications.
• Lead technically complex initiatives across onboarding, analytics, recommendations, menu and order management, or merchant tools.
• Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
