Qualifications

• Experience building production software across both frontend and backend (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Experience designing, building and operating software in production environments.
• Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a passion for writing high-quality software.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience working with AI-powered products, machine learning systems or data-intensive applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver customer-facing features.
• Build clean, well-tested and maintainable software across Python backend and React frontend.
• Own significant areas of our architecture and drive technical improvements.
• Design scalable APIs, services and data models.
• Review code and mentor other engineers through feedback.
• Improve engineering practices, tooling and development workflows across the team.
