IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking a Senior Full Stack Quality Engineer to lead automation across UI, API, services, and integration layers during major refactoring and migration projects. You will define test strategies, build scalable automation, and integrate tests into CI/CD with cross-functional teams.

The role requires mentoring, problem solving, and delivering reusable test assets within a multi-supplier environment.

Qualifications

Design scalable automation across UI, API, services and integration layers.
Automate end-to-end tests and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
Provide reusable automation assets and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Define test approaches and quality strategies for large refactoring and migration initiatives.
Build and maintain full-stack automation frameworks covering UI, API, services, microservices, containers, and integrations.
Create test artefacts including test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test data models.
Automate end-to-end test execution and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop reusable automation assets to support testing.
Execute manual and automated tests to validate app behavior during migration.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues.
Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous quality improvement.
Work within a multi-supplier environment, managing dependencies across teams.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the programme.
