Job summary

Change-IT Public Sector is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead to design, build and own software using Node.js, React and TypeScript. You will lead onshore and offshore teams while remaining hands-on 70% coding and 30% leadership.

Work includes AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD and collaboration with Architects, Cloud, Product, and Business teams. The role is hybrid with 2–3 onsite days per week in the Midlands.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js, React 18+ and TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and modern application architecture.
• Experience AWS and PostgreSQL; Docker, Git and CI/CD.
• Experience leading or mentoring development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications using Node.js, React and TypeScript.
• Own technical architecture and key engineering decisions.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js.
• Lead, mentor and support onshore and offshore developers.
• Drive code quality, reviews and engineering standards.
