Job summary

Runna is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Train Team, collaborating with modelling/AI experts to integrate features into the Runna training platform. You’ll work closely with the CTO and leadership to shape the engineering roadmap and deliver impactful products for runners.

You’ll contribute across frontend and backend, shipping end-to-end features, building scalable architectures, and mentoring teammates. The role offers hybrid working in the UK with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in frontend/backend or full-stack development.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and React Native.
• Experience with AWS and serverless architectures.
• Ability to ship features end-to-end from design to release.
• Willingness to mentor teammates and improve engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, test and deliver new features across the full stack.
• Collaborate with Product to identify the best solution for the customer.
• Interface Runna training engine with the Runna app alongside modelling/AI teams.
• Mentor teammates and provide code reviews.
• Improve developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines and lead releases.
