Job summary

VIQU IT is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to join a near-term greenfield build and help shape the architecture of a next-generation platform. You will work remotely with occasional company-wide meetups, collaborating with senior technical leadership to scale the system across AWS serverless/microservices, PostgreSQL, and a React/TypeScript front end.

Qualifications

• Senior level full stack engineering experience.
• Proficient with React/TypeScript, Python or Node.js, PostgreSQL and AWS serverless/microservices.
• Experience mentoring others.
• Contributed to greenfield builds or major refactors.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features across the full stack: React/TypeScript on the front end, Python/Node.js on the back end, PostgreSQL for data, all on AWS serverless/microservices.
• Shape technical design and architecture decisions for the new platform.
• Mentor a junior AI developer and raise the engineering standard.
• Work in an AI-first environment with modern AI-assisted dev tools.
