Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance GUI applications used in real-time trading environments. You will develop trading, operational and workflow tools, and design Python services, APIs and backend components.

You will work on event-driven systems handling large data volumes, create dashboards and visualisation tools for business-critical workflows, and collaborate directly with users to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer within a trading environment.
• Excellent front-end development skills and experience building sophisticated GUI applications.
• Strong Python development experience in production environments.
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems.
• Exposure to real-time or data-intensive applications.
• Financial services, fintech or trading technology experience is advantageous.
