Job summary

OfferZen is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript experience to own the core platform. This fully remote role operates within UK/South Africa hours, balancing a sustainable pace with meaningful ownership and impact.

You will shape the product roadmap, ship features quickly, and work directly with leadership to drive architectural decisions in a mature software platform handling sensitive data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building software at a senior or lead level.
• Production-level Ruby on Rails and TypeScript experience across the full stack.
• Own releases, migrations, backups and restores in a cloud setup.
• Comfort reading, understanding and improving an established codebase.
• Defensive, security-conscious coding for health-related data.
• Smart use of AI tools with engineering rigor.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the core platform and roadmap.
• Ship client-requested features with an autonomous, fast-moving approach.
• Collaborate with leadership with minimal bureaucracy.
