Job summary

Octopus Energy is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Python and React) to join our product and engineering teams, building systems powering our EV leasing ecosystem. You’ll work with Python, GraphQL, React with Next.js, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases on AWS to deliver robust, scalable software.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines to own features end-to-end, contribute ideas, mentor teammates, and help shape the future of our platforms in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Python and React development.
• Experience designing expressive APIs using GraphQL.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Strong grounding in coding principles and scalable software practices.
• Proven collaboration within cross-functional teams and ownership of features.
