Job summary

Harnham is partnering with a high-growth international technology business to join the platform engineering team. You will own projects from design through to production, rebuild core services, and mentor colleagues while driving modernisation efforts across the platform.

Based in London, you will design, build and maintain backend services, APIs and web apps, work with microservices and event-driven architecture, and influence stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions for global customers.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with modern tech stacks.
• Experience designing and building APIs and services at scale.
• Proven ability to work across microservices and event-driven systems.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive platform decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
