Autonomai Recruitment's client, a well-established fintech, is expanding its London engineering team. You will own features across the full stack, from backend services to the UI, and work closely with product, design and the business.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience across both backend and frontend development.
• Strong backend fundamentals, with Go and/or Python preferred.
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD.
• Solid grasp of databases, caching, and query performance.
• Awareness of secure coding practices and common web vulnerabilities.
• Experience with financial services or another regulated industry is useful, not essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is a well-established financial technology firm operating in fast-moving global markets, growing out its engineering team in London. They build their own trading and client-facing tools in-house, and this role sits at the centre of that effort — spanning both the systems behind the product and the experience people actually interact with.

You'd be joining a small, senior engineering group with genuine end-to-end ownership. Rather than working on one narrow slice of a mature product, you'd help shape how a platform is built and evolves, working closely with people across product, design, and the wider business.
