Job summary

Crisil is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and support market data platforms in a Global Markets context. You will work on end-to-end solutions across UI, APIs and data layers to support data analytics, distribution and usage workflows.

The role requires strong full-stack experience, exposure to market data systems and the ability to operate in high‑performance, production‑critical environments. You will collaborate with trading, analytics and data teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Python or polyglot backend development skills.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and gRPC.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, HBase or similar NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to debug and resolve issues in production environments.
• Ability to own issues end-to-end including RCA and fixes.
• Experience handling large, data‑intensive workloads.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance market data platforms supporting analytics, distribution and usage workflows.
• Develop APIs and services using modern frameworks (including gRPC) for efficient data access.
• Work with large-scale data stores to manage structured and semi-structured market data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with root cause analysis and end-to-end fixes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with trading, analytics and data teams to deliver robust solutions.
