Harrington Starr is seeking an experienced Market Data Engineering Team Lead to drive strategy, architecture, and delivery of our enterprise market data platform. You will combine strong technical leadership with hands-on engineering, shaping scalable data solutions for pricing, analytics and risk across Trading, Risk and Quant teams.

• Senior leader with hands-on architecture and delivery of enterprise market data platforms.
• Proven experience building scalable, high‑performing data pipelines and platforms.
• Strong Python development and data engineering practices guiding standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Market Data Engineering team, while contributing to architecture decisions.
• Define and execute strategy and roadmap for market data engineering.
• Design a modern platform supporting real‑time streaming and batch processing.
• Drive a unified market data model to simplify vendor integrations and downstream consumption.
• Ensure BAU stability, incident management and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate integrations between market data platforms, ETRM systems and downstream applications.
• Partner with Quant, Trading and Risk to support pricing, analytics and risk models.
• Act as senior technical authority for market data architecture across the business.
