Payhawk in London is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our scaling fintech engineering team. You’ll own end-to-end delivery of complex features across frontend and backend, and work with product managers to translate business needs into reliable software.

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with agile processes, CI/CD, and testing.
Ability to work across frontend and backend teams and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

Lead the build of new product features and maintain existing ones end-to-end.
Participate in full SDLC including frontend, backend, testing, deployment and LLM‑based functionalities.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to capture requirements and align with business goals.
Break down complex problems into well-scoped tasks and drive delivery with minimal supervision.
Write scalable, high‑quality code with testability and continuous integration in mind.
Mentor other engineers and share knowledge across teams.
