Job summary

Huge is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Technology practice in Colombia. You will lead integration and content modeling for Optimizely SaaS platforms while engineering high-performance frontend apps with Next.js, Next.js Middleware, and Vercel Edge Functions.

You will collaborate with product, UX, and strategy leadership to develop edge-rendered web experiences for Fortune 500 clients, drive AI-assisted content migrations, and mentor engineers within an agile, globally

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in agile environments delivering large-scale web apps.
• Proven hands-on Optimizely SaaS integration, headless APIs, and enterprise content modeling.
• Strong mastery of Next.js, TS/JS, Next.js Middleware, and deployment via Vercel Edge Functions.
• Experience migrating content via scripting and AI-assisted tooling.
• Deep experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs, backend services (Node.js/Python/Go), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of composable architecture, Storybook, design tokens, and modern CSS (Tailwind, Sass).
• Understanding WCAG/ARIA, Lighthouse audits, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), edge CDNs (Vercel/Cloudflare), and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent with strong English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement content models in Optimizely SaaS with headless APIs.
• Architect and deploy high-performance Next.js-based apps for edge routing and personalization.
• Lead automated content migrations using custom scripts and AI-assisted workflows.
• Develop accessible frontend and backend microservices with JS/TS, React, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, and QA to translate Figma designs and ensure accessibility.
• Mentor junior engineers in a distributed agile environment.
