Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Engineer in the United Kingdom to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You will collaborate with designers, QA, and product managers while leveraging AWS to deploy and host services.

The ideal candidate has strong React.js and Python skills, experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, and a track record of delivering production-grade applications with robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Strong experience with React.js (Hooks, Context, state management).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Database design and optimization skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS / DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (designers, QA, product managers)
• Working with AWS services to deploy, scale, and manage applications
