Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer (frontend focus) to join our Low Carbon Tech team. You will design and build platform architecture, data integrations, and automations for fast, transparent customer journeys in the energy transition.

You'll own features end-to-end, collaborate across frontend, backend, and DevOps, and ensure scalable, high-performance sites with accessible design and AI workflows. Join a flat, agile culture and help push the green energy revolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with the stack listed in Our stack.
• Ability to own development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring.
• Experience tackling large-scale tasks independently.
• Strong collaboration across frontend, backend, DevOps and design.
• Ensure accessibility and scalable, high-traffic sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a bridge across the stack, enabling frontend and backend teams to collaborate.
• Take full ownership of features end-to-end with autonomy.
• Shape architecture for new projects and refactor existing codebases.
• Maintain high frontend standards in AI-assisted workflows and guard long-term health
• Communicate technical ideas clearly with concise context.
• Keep releases smooth with automated CI/CD and production monitoring.
• Work with product and design to ship value efficiently.
