Job summary
Cancer Research UK, based in Stratford, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own a portfolio of critical apps and services. You will build modern React/Next.js front-ends and Node.js services, and work across cloud-based AWS solutions to support researchers and staff.

Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
- Experience building APIs and working with AWS or similar cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Developing and supporting full stack solutions using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and AWS.
- Designing and maintaining APIs, backend services and cloud-based integrations.
- Taking ownership of applications and services within our Corporate Operations portfolio.
- Supporting and modernising existing and legacy systems.
- Improving reliability, security, performance and maintainability.
- Contributing to engineering best practice and continuous improvement.
