Job summary

Vanrath is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a Belfast team working across modern web apps, cloud infrastructure and AI integration. You will own technical solutions, influence architecture and contribute to data-driven products.

The role requires strong JavaScript/React, backend/API skills, and experience with AWS Cloud, AI capabilities and data processing. You’ll operate across the full development lifecycle in a collaborative environment.

• Experienced Full-Stack Engineer with strong web and backend capabilities.
• Comfortable across the full software lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Experience with modern frontend, backend APIs and cloud delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications and backend services
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from technical design through to deployment and support
• Build intuitive, responsive user experiences using modern frontend technologies
• Develop and integrate APIs, databases and data-processing solutions
• Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to improve reliability and scalability
• Explore and implement AI-driven capabilities, including LLM integrations and agent-based workflows
• Use data and analytics to support product functionality and informed decision-making
• Implement robust testing, monitoring and security practices
• Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, product and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions

About you

You will be an experienced Full-Stack Engineer with a strong background in building and maintaining modern web applications and backend services. You will ideally have experience in several of the following areas:

• Strong JavaScript and React development experience
