Job summary

VanRath is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Belfast engineering team. You will work on a next-generation platform, partnering with global cloud providers and a talented group of engineers to deliver scalable, high-quality software.

Ideal candidates have strong TypeScript experience across front-end and back-end stacks, with AWS, microservices, and modern development practices. This is a hybrid role with career progression and exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Backend development with TypeScript, Java, or C#.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Experience with AWS and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Testing: unit, integration and end-to-end.
• CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
• Version control with Git and Agile methodologies.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Full Stack, Front End or Backend Engineer with strong TypeScript experience and a genuine interest in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality software.

Experience across some of the following would be beneficial:

• TypeScript, JavaScript, React and modern front-end frameworks
