Job summary

CGI London seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, build and enhance reusable components, services and APIs across Java, Angular and Node.js. You’ll work with CGI and client teams to translate architecture into production-ready solutions while improving onboarding and service resilience.

You’ll drive automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments on Azure/Kubernetes, balancing rapid delivery with long-term maintainability and mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full-stack development across Java and Angular.
• Experience delivering production-quality software in complex environments.
• Familiar with cloud, containers and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design & Develop: Build reusable front-end and back-end components, RESTful APIs, microservices and integrations using Java, Angular, Node.js and Express.js.
• Enable & Simplify: Improve shared components, documentation, reference implementations and tooling.
• Engineer & Assure: Apply test-driven development and automated testing to deliver secure software.
• Automate & Deploy: Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across Azure and Kubernetes.
• Optimise & Operate: Monitor and diagnose to improve performance and resilience.
• Collaborate & Influence: Work with Leads, Architects, Product, QA, DevOps and suppliers to deliver outcomes.
• Innovate & Improve: Leverage AI-assisted development tools with human oversight.
• Own & Resolve: Identify blockers and drive fixes to resolution.
• Guide & Support: Mentor developers and share reusable approaches.
