Job summary

Waracle is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our world-class digital technology consultancy. You will design and deliver end-to-end features spanning React frontends to scalable backend architectures, while ensuring software quality and security.

This hybrid role offers home-based work with 2 days a week connecting with the team in Glasgow or Dundee offices. You will mentor colleagues, translate complex technical choices for clients, and contribute to Waracle’s engineering practice

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering complex digital products across the full stack.
Hands-on experience with .NET C# backend.
Experience building responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Familiarity with modern cloud tools and patterns such as Azure, Durable Functions, SQL and Docker.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles, UI/UX best practices, maintainability and security.
Mentoring and collaborative communication style to help teammates grow.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Architectural Delivery: design and deliver end-to-end web applications with React frontend and modular backend subsystems.
Quality & Security: champion high standards, conduct code reviews, and guide testing strategies across unit, service, and frontend levels.
Consulting & Communication: translate complex technical choices into clear language for clients and stakeholders.
Mentorship & Practice Growth: nurture juniors and contribute fresh industry ideas across the software lifecycle.
Delivery Accountability: balance speed and quality to ensure sustainable feature delivery.
