Job summary

Pearson Carter is partnering with an NHS-contracted healthcare organisation in Manchester to recruit a Senior Full Stack Developer. You will work on greenfield projects, building secure and scalable applications for healthcare professionals and improved patient outcomes.

The role focuses on C# .NET (6) and React, with cloud-hosted services and NHS integrations. Hybrid work 2 days per week in Manchester office, competitive salary up to £70k.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial experience in a full-stack role.
• Experience delivering cloud-hosted .NET services at scale.
• Proficiency in C# and modern .NET (6) with async patterns.
• Strong React experience with hooks and state management.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist in design, development and maintenance of a C# .NET-based greenfield healthcare application.
• Collaborate with clinical leads and stakeholders to translate needs into software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code following GDPR and NHS data protection standards.
• Provide day-to-day technical mentorship of junior and mid-level developers.
• Conduct code reviews, testing and debugging; pair with junior members when needed.
• Design, develop and support integrations with NHS FHIR, e-RS, and third-party APIs.
• Stay informed about healthcare technology trends and regulatory requirements.
