Job summary

Pearson Carter is supporting a Manchester-based NHS-contracted healthcare organisation in recruiting a Senior .NET Developer. You will join a team delivering greenfield applications to support healthcare professionals and patient outcomes, working in an Agile environment with a focus on secure, scalable software.

The role requires strong C# and .NET (6) expertise, extensive React experience, cloud services, and collaboration with clinical leads. Hybrid work with office 2 days a week is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial full-stack experience.
• Experience delivering cloud-hosted .NET services at scale.
• Proficiency in C# and modern .NET (6) with async patterns.
• Strong React experience with hooks and state management.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist in the design, development and maintenance of a C# .NET-based greenfield healthcare application.
• Collaborate with clinical leads and stakeholders to translate user needs into software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following GDPR and NHS data protection standards.
• Provide day-to-day technical mentorship to Junior/Mid-level developers.
• Conduct code reviews, testing and debugging; pair with junior members as needed.
• Design, develop and support integrations with NHS FHIR, e-RS and third-party APIs.
