Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a market-leading healthcare technology organisation based in Manchester. The role focuses on secure, scalable applications using C#, .NET 6, React and cloud services, with involvement in greenfield projects and NHS integrations.

You will work in a hybrid setup (3 days from home, 2 in office) and contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentoring. Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years' commercial full-stack development experience.
• Strong C# and modern .NET (6) experience.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable cloud-based .NET services.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, OOP and Git.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience, including Dapper or equivalent.
• Experience with unit., integration and E2E testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to mentor developers and contribute to technical decisions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and modern .NET.
• Design REST APIs and integrations with NHS FHIR, e-RS and third-party APIs.
• Build secure, scalable cloud applications using Azure.
• Develop modern React applications using TypeScript.
• Collaborate with clinical leads, stakeholders and developers to deliver software solutions.
• Follow best practices around GDPR, NHS Information Governance and healthcare compliance.
• Mentor Junior and Mid-level developers and contribute to code reviews.
• Work within an Agile environment, supporting testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
