Job summary

Pearson Carter are working with a not-for-profit NHS-contracted healthcare organisation that coordinates and delivers NHS primary and community eye care through a large network of local opticians. Senior Full Stack Developer is required to join a team building secure, scalable healthcare applications using C# .NET and React.

The role is based in Manchester with a hybrid pattern, offering up to £70k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial experience in a full-stack role.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-hosted .NET services at scale.
• Deep proficiency in C# and modern .NET (6).
• Strong proficiency in React with hooks, state management, and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist in the design, development and maintenance of a C# .NET-based greenfield healthcare application.
• Collaborate with clinical leads to understand user needs and translate them into software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable code following GDPR and NHS data protection standards.
• Provide day-to-day mentorship of Junior and Mid-level developers.
• Conduct code reviews, testing and debugging, pairing with junior members when needed.
• Design, develop and support integrations with NHS FHIR, e-RS and third-party APIs.
• Stay informed about healthcare tech trends and regulatory requirements.
