Job summary

CreateFuture is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help modernise web and marketing platforms using JavaScript, AI and cloud technologies.

You will work with GraphQL/REST, Node.js, Next.js/React, AWS and Terraform, prototyping new AI-driven workflows and shaping the platform roadmap.

The role offers hybrid and remote options with offices in Leeds and other UK hubs, plus a culture of learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven senior full-stack software engineering experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST across modern web apps and APIs.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, S3, CloudFront) and infrastructure tooling.
• Hands-on with AI concepts, agentic workflows and rapid prototyping.
• Excellent communication with engineers and stakeholders; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Engineer in exploring technical opportunities across CMS and web/marketing platforms.
• Build proof-of-concepts and rapidly prototype ideas to assess practical viability.
• Deep-dive into AI, agentic and workflow opportunities to create value.
• Work across the full stack on APIs, web apps, cloud infra and platform capabilities.
• Help refocus CMS team on high-value marketing work and scalable ops.
• Collaborate with the wider team to shape pragmatic technical approaches and roadmap.
