Job summary

Phorest is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will build and improve a large-scale SaaS platform used by thousands of salon, spa and MedSpa professionals worldwide.

Work with Ember.js, JavaScript and Tailwind, crafting intuitive, high-quality user experiences while collaborating with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to ship features and iterate on the design system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional frontend experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Ember.js or React/Angular/Vue and REST/GraphQL.
• Ability to build responsive, reusable UI components and work with a design system.
• Strong focus on code quality, testing and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and designers to ship features.
• Create reusable UI components using modern JS frameworks and design system.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions.
• Write clean, well-tested code following best practices.
• Develop automated unit and acceptance tests.
• Improve performance and accessibility.
• Take ownership from development to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Stay curious about new frontend technologies.
