Job summary

Dayshape, Edinburgh-based, is seeking a senior software engineer to join the engineering team. You will enhance frontend features, ensure scalable and accessible UI, and work closely with product and QA to deliver value.

You’ll own features end-to-end, write tests, and mentor teammates while maintaining a strong focus on UX and performance. This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and home working in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in building frontend features with JavaScript and Vue.js in an Agile product environment.
• Proficient in writing unit and end-to-end tests.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support product and engineering managers in prioritisation and delivery of features.
• Write complex frontend logic and upgrade UI components in Vue.js.
• Contribute to test automation and ensure code quality.
• Mentor and coach teammates; help improve scalability and performance.
