Job summary

Ryft is a high-growth fintech startup building a payments platform for marketplaces and merchants worldwide. We seek a Senior Frontend Developer to own frontend development across merchant web apps, internal tools, and SDKs for web, React, and React Native.

You will work closely with the Frontend Engineering Manager and Product Designer, contributing from design through release in a small, collaborative, hands-on team. European expansion awaits as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in TypeScript and React for production web apps.
• Strong background in building scalable frontend architectures.
• Experience with testing and accessibility considerations.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features end-to-end across web apps and SDKs.
• Write strict, tested TypeScript code with attention to data handling in payments.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows while maintaining full ownership of output.
• Contribute to a shared component library, conventions, and tooling.
• Collaborate with designer and engineering manager to translate designs into UI.
• Learn new domains quickly as the platform expands into Europe and beyond.
• Develop deep React expertise for complex, production-grade apps.
• Maintain high standards for quality, performance, and API design.
