Job summary

Shell in the United Kingdom is seeking a Products Freight Analyst to support commercial decision-making and profitably and compliantly manage freight operations. You will deliver tradeable market insights, build analytical tools in Python and VBA, and partner with traders, business development, finance and wider Trading & Supply stakeholders.

The role offers visibility and impact, with responsibility for MI dashboards, P&L analytics, and collaboration across global offices to benchmark

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, freight, energy analytics or trading support.
• Proven ability to design and implement analytical methodologies.
• Strong ownership, accountability and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own short- and long-term freight market analysis and models.
• Lead MI dashboards, automation, and data storytelling.
• Partner with traders and business development on opportunities.
• Maintain P&L analytics and explain earnings drivers across vessels and regions.
