Job summary

Zego is seeking a Senior Fraud Investigator to lead high-stakes investigations, including first-party and third-party fraud, credit hire disputes and staged cases. You will have sign-off authority on claims payments, reserves, and defensive actions, while mentoring junior investigators and shaping counter-fraud strategy.

You will collaborate with solicitors, insurers, engineers and internal teams, using data analytics and telematics to detect fraud patterns and drive timely, fair outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in fraud or investigations.
• Strong analytical skills to detect fraud indicators and patterns.
• Solid understanding of claims governance and delegated authorities.
• Mentor investigators and deputise for Team Leader.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with solicitors, insurers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-risk first-party and third-party fraud investigations.
• Coordinate with solicitors, engineers, and investigators to drive cases.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and audit processes for quality and compliance.
• Sign off on claims payments, reserves and defences within limits.
• Mentor and support team members on complex liability and litigation issues.
