Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies International Ltd in Cambridge seeks an ASIC verification engineer focused on Formal Property Verification (FPV) to design and implement assertion-based testbenches and drive formal sign-off. You will work with global RTL design and DV teams to achieve project goals and apply industry-standard formal tools including SVA and JasperGold.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in science/engineering with 2+ years in ASIC design/verification, or a Master's with 1+ year, or a PhD.

Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 1+ year ASIC experience.
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the 3D graphics hardware pipeline and GPU architecture basics for verification scope.
Strategize and develop Formal Property Verification (FPV) test plans and assertion-based testbenches to enable formal sign-off.
Collaborate with global GPU RTL design and DV teams to achieve project goals and sign-off.
Apply industry-standard formal tools, write SystemVerilog Assertions, and manage proof complexity via abstraction techniques.
