Thales Group in Crawley, UK is seeking an experienced firmware engineer focused on FPGA design and verification for mission-critical systems. You will contribute to reusable firmware architectures and verification strategies across multi-disciplinary programmes.

You will design with VHDL/SystemVerilog, develop robust test benches, collaborate with hardware, software and systems teams, and ensure delivery within schedule and cost constraints. Security clearance is commonly required.

Qualificações

• FPGA firmware design and verification experience.
• Strong VHDL and SystemVerilog design skills.
• Experience constructing and using test benches and simulators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Architect FPGA firmware designs for reuse, scalability and maintainability.
• Design FPGA firmware using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Verify firmware using test benches and simulation tools.
• Develop verification test benches, environments and methodologies.
• Collaborate with systems, software and hardware engineers to deliver complete electronic systems.
• Deliver firmware projects on time, within budget and to quality targets.
