DTC | A Codan Company is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer in Whiteley, UK to develop FPGA solutions for embedded communications products. You will work closely with software, electronics, RF and systems engineers, designing and validating FPGA functionality and integrating with processors and embedded software.

The role emphasizes hands-on FPGA work in VHDL, ownership of complex problems, and contributing to design decisions from concept to product release.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FPGA design experience with strong VHDL skills.
• Senior role; comfortable owning your work and solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing FPGA functionality in VHDL.
• Verifying designs through simulation and testing on real hardware.
• Integrating FPGA designs with processors, embedded software and other hardware.
• Investigating design and system level issues during development and testing.
• Contributing to technical decisions from early design through to product release.
• Improving and supporting FPGA designs in existing products.
