Job summary

Riverlane is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to join the Systems Team in Cambridge, UK. This full-time role focuses on configuring Deltaflow Hardware to connect quantum computers, enabling low-latency, high-throughput systems for complex experiments.

You will work closely with customers and the Riverlane teams to tailor hardware for evolving quantum control systems, support system integration, and drive successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in FPGA/RTL development for hardware systems.
• Experience with hardware integration for quantum control systems.

Responsibilities

• Write RTL to adapt to customers’ control systems and ensure data packets are received correctly.
• Collaborate with the Quantum Application Team to design experiments to test the system.
• Benchmark and identify hardware latency limitations.
• Host technical workshops and evaluate customer data communication requirements.
