Job summary

Oxford Metrics Plc, a world-leading motion capture technology company, is seeking a Senior FPGA Design Engineer in Oxfordshire. You will design and verify FPGA code for high-speed motion capture hardware, ensuring timing closure and performance prior to release.

You will collaborate with electronic, mechanical and software engineers and contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing support, with responsibilities including code reviews and testbench development.

Qualifications

• Experience with VHDL/Verilog and timing closure for FPGA designs.
• Proficient in testbench generation and verification of new features.
• Understanding of high-speed digital design and related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and verification of FPGA code for high-speed motion capture and related hardware.
• Ensure timing closure and performance before release.
• Code reviews of VHDL/Verilog files and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Involvement across full product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing support.
