Job summary

Humand Talent is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer in Oxford to own FPGA design and verification across a new generation of high-performance hardware products. The role involves hands-on development with VHDL/Verilog, timing closure, and verification across interfaces like PCIe and LVDS.

You’ll join a seasoned engineering team, collaborating with electronics, software and mechanical engineers to ensure designs are production-ready with robust test coverage and DFM/DFT considerations.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with VHDL/Verilog.
• Proven ability to achieve FPGA timing closure.
• Experience creating testbenches and verification strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA design and verification across products.
• Develop and optimise VHDL-based FPGA designs.
• Tackle timing closure and performance optimisation problems.
• Work with LVDS, PCIe, GMII, Ethernet interfaces.
• Review and improve existing HDL code.
• Collaborate with electronics, software and mechanical engineers to deliver high-performing products.
