Job summary

IC Resources is working with a well-funded stealth-mode AI hardware startup in London, seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead FPGA/RTL design across high-throughput data paths and streaming architectures. You will steer designs from architecture through RTL, verification, timing closure and hardware validation.

The role offers ownership in an early-stage team, collaboration with system architects and software engineers, and a chance to shape cutting-edge AI inference hardware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FPGA or RTL design experience.
• Experience designing complex, high-throughput data paths and streaming architectures.
• Experience achieving timing closure on large FPGA designs.
• Knowledge of PCIe, DDR/HBM, 100GbE or SerDes interfaces.
• Experience with AMD Xilinx or Intel Altera FPGA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take designs from architecture through RTL development, verification, timing closure and hardware validation.
• Develop high-throughput data paths and optimise data movement.
• Integrate high-speed interfaces and test across hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with system architects, algorithm engineers and software developers.
• Own critical FPGA components and influence technical decisions.
